This great swimming hole was a favorite among the Labrador Retrievers of Sherman. All 9 dogs were going after the one tennis ball. The dogs swam here as often as they could talk their people into driving them over to it. This area is now restricted and has become the River Oaks Golf Course in town. The dogs are very greatful that Candlewood Lake is only 3 miles from home and now they own their very own pontoon boat, named "The Nauti Dog".
